Tip Tuesday – Sweet Sixteen

Yes, these last 16 years have been VERY sweet indeed! Back-to-school means that it is time for me to celebrate the founding of Simplify You. In honor of this anniversary, I am excited to reveal my fabulous new website recently refreshed by DesignTLC!
Sixteen years ago (when I sent my only child off to Kindergarten) I decided to launch my business. “Simplify You” was the name I came up with as “it is what we do, and who we are.” Simplification is what we hope to achieve with each and every client.
At the time, “organizers” were more likely to be labor organizers than people who helped you streamline your home, but with some online research, I found NAPO National. I was SO excited to find a trade organization actually existed for the career I was launching! Shortly after I joined the WDC Chapter of NAPO as well.
I couldn’t imagine the amazing relationships that I would form with my wonderful, trusting clients and talented colleagues at the time, nor the recognition that organizing as a profession would get (thanks Marie Kondo!). Here are some career highlights:
2003 – Launched “Simplify You, Inc.”
2006 – Awarded “Volunteer of the Year” – WDC NAPO Chapter
2008 – Became a Certified Professional Organizer
2014 – Awarded “Best Home Based Business” from Arlington Chamber of Commerce
2017 – Launched Holding Hangers at HSN American Dream Academy
2018 – Voted “Best Professional Organizer” by Arlington Magazine
2018 – Awarded “Organizer of the Year” – WDC NAPO Chapter
Now, starting my 17th year, I am excited to be doing more Renovation/New Home Plan review. And of course, my team and I LOVE to get people settled in the “right way, right away” with Move-In Perfection!
Whatever your needs, I am looking forward to 2020 and being around to help my beloved clients get the serene spaces they long for!
